Since this will be our first vegan Thanksgiving, we've been trying several of the options out their.  So far we've tried Field Roast and a homemade seitan version.  But since we'll actually be celebrating this year at Cowboy Stadium with my dad convenience is going to be the way to go this year.

Although all the sides and desserts will be homemade just like the past 14 years of marriage(!!), an already made "turky" will be the way to go.  This week we tried the Gardein Turk'y Cutlets.

These were great, but admittedly, I didn't try the gravy included.  I had already made my own gravy earlier in the week so that's what I used.  We ate it with red potatoes (undressed) and broccoli.  TJ even asked if I was positive this wasn't "real" chicken.  This one will be in the running, we still want to try the Stuffed Turk'y version, the Holiday Roast version, and the famous Tofurky.

Since Tuesdays & Wednesdays are a tight schedule for us, dinner must be convenient.  That's why today we have Boca Buffalo Chick'n Patties.  We bought the Boca patties and I made a Buffalo sauce to pour on top with Follow Your Heart Vegan Ranch and some fries on the side.  Was yummy.

Those are convenience foods.  I'll still try to make seitan when I can but these make life so much easier!
